general FAQ

No, sorry. We have plenty of food and drink options in the arena. Snacks for small children are permitted. Water is permitted too provided it's in factory sealed (new) plastic bottles but please note we have free drinking water throughout site so an empty bottle is recommended.

Yes you can but please be mindful of areas kept clear for dancing in front of stages

Yes, you can apply for a free carers ticket here. Free carer tickets are provided on a ratio of one per paying ticket, or one per family

The showground has hard standing routes virtually everywhere plus wheelchair friendly loo facilities. Most marquee stages and the area in front of main stage are grass but virtually flat.

To be confirmed. It is likely we will organise a coach between the showground and locations in Shepton Mallet.

Gazebos aren't permitted in the area. Parasols are as long as they aren't higher than seated head height.

No, the show is on Saturday and Sunday only but Extreme Express Monster Truck Ride and Mini Monster Truck Mania is open all three days

Virtually every bar, stalls and rides accept card however we recommend bringing some cash too as some card machines on site rely on good mobile internet reception which isn't always guaranteed.

Included: Music stages, food trials, monster truck shows, Wild West horse show, Geezers Palace, vehicle exhibition, BMX stunts, line dancing, wrestling shows and Wincanton High gaming area. Not Included: Fair rides and games, monster truck rides, mini monster trucks, Wall of Death, fire engine ladder, rodeo bull and inflatables......plus food, drink and merch of course!

No, infants do not need tickets.

Bath & West Showground has proper loos situated in blocks throughout the arena and campsites. There is no paid luxury loo pass available.

camping FAQ

12 midday on Friday, 9am on Saturday and 12 midday on Sunday. Last entry is 10pm on Friday and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. The Early Camping upgrade permits entry from 12 midday on Thursday.

If you have a camping ticket then yes. Only those with a weekend camping ticket can access campsites.

Yes but only if you purchase a campervan/caravan (live in vehicle) pass.

Unfortunately not due to health and safety reasons. It's only a short walk from the car park to the campsite.

Yes but we're expecting our campsites to be busy so you may be asked to take it down.

Yes you can bring a cooking stove, but small cannisters only (250ml max). Fire pits are not permitted. BBQs are permitted but only if they are proper BBQs and not the disposable tray style.

Depending on where you park and pitch it will be 200m up to 500m.

If it's over 7m long you will need to purchase two upgrade passes and park over two pitches.

Yes there is and you can choose quiet camping tickets when you book. If you miss this option, please make our campsite team aware on arrival that you'd like to pitch in the quiet camping area and they will do their best to accommodate. Please note we take no responsibility for disturbances caused by other campers whatsoever.

We allow a child of 11 and under to shower free along with one paying parent.

No, but exhibitors can camp with friends in the public campsites.

The Early Camping upgrade allows campers to arrive from 12 midday Thursday as opposed to the standard 12 midday Friday.

Bell Tents include flooring, air beds, a light and power socket.
